You might be wrong, though. People are getting tired of 'big brother govt' and them telling us what to do. People are growing tired. Look at SanFran and Chicago - they are getting a rash of heat because their mayors don't want Chic-Fil-A to open in their towns because of the standpoint of the CEO. Big brother regulating what they want - not land of the free.
You're right, you won't get the people's backing on steroids; but you might on the fact that we are tired of the govt regulating what we can/can't do. Besides, tobacco is a huge issue still - bringing up the comparison could be a win. Nontheless...I'm starting up a petition - post has already been made.
