Gettin Squirrely with Forerunner Alpha Mass!

    Gettin Squirrely with Forerunner Alpha Mass!

    I was luckily chosen by Right Hook to log Alpha Mass. A few stats about me 6'2 and about 184 lbs at the minute. I'm tall and fairly lean. This cycle will be used with a clean bulk diet to hopefully put on some muscle. I've been up to about 200 lbs before but have been coming off of a long cut and ready to get jacked. I train 4 days a week and don't usually get to strict with what muscle groups on what days.

    Dosing 3 caps 3x a day.

    Training is a four day split. Back and arms/chest and core/legs/shoulders and what ever else I feel like. I dont always stick to that strictly and switch it up a lot. I also run 2 or 3 miles a couple days of the week. I feel a lot better mentally and physically when I am doing a decent amount of cardio.

    I'm coming off of a cut and have already upped my calories. Just over the past few days my muscles feel fuller from the increased intake. I have a new workout partner which makes it a lot easier to get in and push myself hard which is great. Tonight we hit back and arms consisting of bent over barbell rows, lat pulldowns, wide grip pullups, rope pulldowns, skullcrushers, and some core work.

    If you have any general advice for exercises I'm open to hear it. Over the past two years I have gone from being a fat out of shape (230 lbs) to a lean slightly muscular 183. I have been lifting consistently with a good idea of what I am doing for the past 11 months or so. The goal of this cycle is muscle mass with minimal fat gain.

    Righthook, when do people usually start to notice the effects of Alpha Mass?

    Hit the gym tonight for legs. I hit them pretty hard with squats, hack squat machine, weighted lunges, and a machine I can't remember the name of. Tried to hit a mile on the tread mill, but my legs were toast and quit after a few minutes. Feeling good in the gym though, hopefully strength increases a lot once the Alpha Mass starts kicking in. Calories are still up, indulged tonight in hot wings as its been quite a while.

    Going to take tonight off. My back, lats, and legs are absolutely wrecked after the last two nights. Hopefully the Alpha Mass will help with recovery as my work out partner has been helping me push my limits and my body is feeling it!     Today I am going to go to the local YMCA to do a jump and pump class that consists of sprints, jump ropes, and various calisthenics. Saturday and Sunday I will resume pumping iron! I'm going to a duck and wine dinner party tonight so a little cardio prior won't hurt. I've never done this class but it should be fun. At work again so no chicks in yoga pants. Tomorrow I will make it up to every one of you!

    I have been taking the AM since Monday, no effects really noticed yet but it is still very early!

    Good luck with your AM cycle. Today is my last day of a 6 week run of Alpha Mass. Like you I started 2 yrs. ago at a fat bastard weight of 230, dropped down to 192 at which I was stuck at for 6 months. Ran a couple test boosters with decent results and decided to step into PH's. This has been my first PH and definately not my last. Started this cycle at the recommended 6 caps daily for first 4 weeks, then kicked it up to double dose at 4/4/4 for the last 2 weeks. Great increase in strength going into 2nd week. Minimal sides were a little lithargy that never seemed to really clear, minor acne that I cleared up with Vit B5 and a slight drop in libido that never effected my performance.....at age 44 that's always a concern. So at the end of one hell of a ride, I now weigh in at 203 and all my Bro's are wanting to know what the secret to my latest success is. According to other reviews I've read, 11 lbs. of lean mass in 6 weeks is some pretty good gains for any PH. Can't wait to see what future releases are from FRL.

    Friday just went in and did some cardio and bicep work. Saturday I tried out box squats off a recommendation from someone in another thread, and what an awesome exercise that is, also did weighted lunges and my legs are on fire today! Yesterday hit chest with incline dumbbell, decline dumbbell, and db flys. My weight was actually around 184 when I started this cycle coming off the big diet and I am at 190 now. I think between Alpha Mass and the increased calories has my muscles already looking and feeling a lot fuller, hopefully a sign to come! I feel like my recovery is increasing and I am already noticing less time needed resting in between sets.

    Also, for preworkouts I usually use Controlled Labs White flood, but have been using Super Pump Max this last week and this stuff is pretty good. The taste is fantastic and I dont feel like a stimmed out junky on it. Good pumps too.

    Hey Right Hook, since Alpha Mass is not methylated, it doesn't really affect liver values correct? I only ask as I went to a duck and wine dinner on Friday and really over indulged in both. 8 of us killed 10 bottles of wine. I'll give you guys a tip, drink coconut water and normal water throughout a night of drinking and your hang over will practically be non-existent.

    It will be easier on the liver than something like superdrol but still adds some stress. Still one night out isn't going to hurt ya.

    Coconut water is terrible! Joe defranco recommends it a lot for his athletes.

    I'll look when I get home and give you the brand I stock up on. Its flavored, but not heavily and only has 60 calories per bottle. It tastes awesome too.

    By the way pre-workout you should really try: Pump Fixx-AMS/Wyked-Taurus/Mesomorph-Can not remember just a few I have taken and really liked. No big crash just right. For the Pump-Fixx add some hypertrop-x about 15 mins before workout or while drinking Fixx for some good stuff.
