Day 1 Using Hyper Max: Back Day

 

I have tried a sample of Hypermax in the past but can not remember what flavor I tried. The tub I received was Watermelon but seemed to taste better than the sample I received a while back. I did a review of that but don't feel like looking for it right now, may have been the same flavor.

 

I started out with 1/2 scoop with the recommended water in a cup and just sloshed around. Did this about 40 minutes before my workout to see how much kick it had and waited 15 minutes. Really wasn't feeling much so I took a full scoop. About 5 minutes after that dose my heart was beating pretty fast during my preworkout bath room break. Energy wasn't that intense during the workout but seemed to have leg. Wasn't really fatiguing like I have been lately. Focus was a little higher but may have been because the previous days workout was one of the worst I have had in a long time so I was determined to have a good day for this back session.

 

The plan going into this workout was to start rebuilding my deadlift, work up to my bodyweight on pull downs and then transition to weighted pull ups. Things went pretty well with deads. Kept near perfect form for the entire session. My training max right now is 365 so that I can rebuild. I am pretty sure if I felt like injuring myself I could pull 5 plates again but would be more of a set back to do it. I have along way to go. Really haven't pulled over 500 in probably 20 months. Pulled 5 plates back in june I think but it was a gym brahz type competition and I had to back up my big mouth one day when I was called out lol. 20 months ago I was set to hit 545 and injured myself a week prior just about. I best lift then was a touch and go 455x10, so I have a long road back. Yesterday the program only called for 305x5 which I got pretty easy. I need to get comfortable pulling fast with the correct form and numbers should increase fast over the next few months. Pull down went well ending with 240x6, could have gotten 8 but would have used a lot of English to get it. Then I worked my way through sets with a 10, 25, 35 & 45 plate around my waist. Only got 4 reps with the 45 lol.We then moved on to 5x5 on dumbbell rows. I used a 150 for all of my sets. Training partner then wanted to do something for the upper mid-back area which we did wide grip seat rows which is a very hard exercise for me. Then finished off with weighted hyperextensions. End with like 80 pounds. Pretty good session considering that the previous sucked really bad.

 

Today I will dose the product the same way I did for this workout. Probably be at 2 scoops fast. Got Shoulders and Triceps tonight.

The full serving or more was where this preWO really shined for me.

1.5 was nice. May try 2 for tomorrows leg workout. tub says don't take more than 2 scoops but before its over I will try it any way lol

In. The watermelon is a huge flavor improvement. The last version was fruit punch, but it tasted like bubblegum. I enjoyed, the majority didn't.

Yep, the original version you had contained creatine and AMP. This does not, we instead added norvaline and GMS to help with the pump. 1.5 is my sweet spot too, 2 is a little too much for me. I know if I need 2, it is time for a stim break.

Explains the above normal vein age today. Haven't had a lot of that going on lately.

Gotta love the gms pumps. 1.5 is my sweet spot also. 2 scoops hits me way too hard.

Day 2 & 3  Using Hyper Max: Shoulder, Traps, & Triceps then Chest, Biceps, Forearms & Abs

 

Went with 1.5 scoops for both workouts. Starting to have pumps again for what seems like a month. Going to stick with 1.5 scoops again tonight. Probably not try 2 scoops until my next leg day. In-between this two workouts I took a day off.

 

On the shoulder day I almost managed to match my reps on OHP with 10 more pounds than my last shoulder workout but was real shaky. Usually don't have this problem because I use a staggered stance so I don't know what the issue was. Did a lot of volume on dumbbell side laterals after that. Then moved on to so heavy high pulls. Did some rear delts with a last set that had a lot of partials and fried them bishes. On traps we did a fancy named shrug exercise but it was basically a seated dumbbell single are shrug. On triceps we did a triset for three rotations and then two different exercises that focus on the long head

 

Chest day was great matched my reps from the previous workout with 15 more pounds but my strength is still down from where I was. Did some constant tension type incline barbell work after that. Then a john meadows exercise where I used chains on the smith machine and did some full ROM reps followed by partials. Great pump. Then I moved on the dips. Did some heavy hammer curls, machine curls with partials and some concentration curls. Actually trained my forearms for the first time in a long whole and also did abs.

 

Tonight is back. Gonna work on my dead form more and then do some mountain dog type work.

Do you have a video of the meadows exercise you were referring to? I'm pretty familiar with his exercises, but having a hard time visualizing that one.

It was just flat smith machine chest press with chains added. Was supposed to be bands but my training partner had those and we train separately most of the time on the weekend.

Day 4 Using Hyper Max: Back & Calves

 

Started out with my programming for rebuilding my deadlift. Had great speed but still need better form. Mainly just get more leg drive and such. Then did a Mountain Dog workout of John Meadows that Mark Dugdale posted. Started with a super set of chest supported row and rope seated cable row for like 5 rounds. We then moved on to wide grip straight arm pull overs for 4-5 sets of 10 reps. Next was dumbbell rows, I was fatigued here so only did 3x6 with 120's. Then we did 3 sets of BTN pulldowns with 1-count weighted stretches after each set. And finished off with strecthers. This was with 1.5 scoops again and worked just fine again. Going to stick with the same dosing again for tonight Shoulders workout.

Seems pretty good right now. I was going to go to 2 scoops for my next leg workout, which is tonight but I feel that I can stick with 1.5 again.

Day 5 Using Hyper Max: Shoulders, Traps & Triceps

 

Started this day off pretty good with a great top set on overhead press and then moved on to dumbbell side delt raises. About three feeder sets and then I did 5 single drop sets. The weight on the start of the drop sets and end drop with every drop set I went lighter than the previous set. Next was upright rows. I just pyramid it up to a decently heavy weight and then did a drop set where I hit 2/4/6/8/10 reps on each drop. After that we did two feeder sets on dumbbell shrugs with 2-count holds. When I got to a though weight  for ten I did three progressive sets of 10 reps with 10 reps with no holds on the end of each set. Finished of delts with a super set where I did rope face pulls while seated at the lat pull-down machine and then straight to bent over rear delt partials. did this for 3 rounds. We then moved on to triceps. Started with mechanical advantage giant set with dual ropes. What I read Mark Dugdale did on these a while back was do 8-10 reps starting with the attachment on the lowest setting then you move it up to waist level and do 8-10 more reps. Then to the set closest to shoulder level and finish with the attachment at the highest setting both for 8-10 reps too. Did this for 3 rounds and it torched my triceps. Finished triceps of with ez bar skull crushers didn't go heavy on these either. Hit about 4 sets of 15-12 reps and called it a day.

 

Seem to be looking fuller and more vascular even though Im fat. May be just the Hyper Max but I have been taking my aminos again and getting in a lot of clean carbs.

Day 6 Using Hyper Max: Legs & Abs

 

Took two scoops as mentioned in previous posts. This answered a question I have been having lately during my workouts. Been getting a feeling similar to bet alanine or niacin. This is more of a cold chill across the skin. No biggie just feel weird like with other supplements. I guess the PerformaX Labs reps can chime in and explain what ingredient might be causing this effect.

 

Well I started of my leg workout with squats ending on a heavy set of six reps for the day. Wasn't real limber today but toughed it out and got the work done. The next two exercises were pretty simple. Just curls for 3x10 and extensions for 5x15. Had amazing pumps from very light weight on these. Next I did a John Meadows favorite, 1.5's. These suck. I did them on leg press this week and they were just about as bad as when done on the hack squat. Did three rounds of 10 on that and then moved on to single leg press for another set of 3x10. Finished the upper legs of with 3x7 on cable pull through. I then moved on to calves were I did a assortment of reps and sets. Pretty much did two seated movements, two straight leg movements & two Doris flexor movement for exercise selection. Abs sucked lol. Did roman chair knee raises, ninety degree side bends, back supported cable crunches, cable oblique crunches and ab rollouts.  

 

Tonight I chest day, probably give two scoops a shot again. Today I will be cutting back on my coffee during the day, so hypermax should really help once I get to the gym.

I have never heard of that chill effect. Hypermax does contain BA, are you sensitive to it?

Either the BA, or more likely the stim blend. The alpha-Y and higamine in other products I have used warmed me up to where i feel chilled.
