Day 18 Using Hyper Max: Legs
Legs was on the menu and had a pretty good workout. Worked up to a heavy set of 6 on squats then moved on to glute ham killers for 3 sets of 8 reps. These are done on the lat pull down machine pads with a broomstick for balance. Then we did leg press working up to a quintuplet drop sets. Pretty painful. Then was a pretty challenging super set. Leg extensions for 10 reps with a 10-count iso-hold at then end straight in to ATG front squats. Did that for three rounds going heavier on each set. Actually worked up to 225 on the front squats which surprised me. Then we finished off with the hamstrings. 3 sets of single leg curls with no rest periods and then did dumbbell stiff leg deadlifts with 5 lbs. plates under my toes. Finished my workout with calves. 4x12-15 on smith machine standing calf raises and 3 sets of 12 on seated calf raises.
