this is my thinking too, but if she is "on the fence" as in she likes me but she's not sure she wants to pursue anything more, I would be shooting myself in the foot by not texting her and being forward/confident to get a date right?

my two choices are:

1) stop texting; hope she texts but if she doesnt its over
2) text her in a few days; continue to be forward about meeting up - if ignored or rejected then stop

It's hard to say what to do because I don't know what this girl is like or the whole scope of the situation. I can however tell you what worked for me to land my current gf who I've been with for the past year.

We did the same text/ fb message every now and then. I even invited her over for a movie a time or two both times she was busy. She does hair for a living so she agreed to come to my house to fix and color my mohawk. In conversations later in our relationship she said she was really impressed that I showed a lot of confidence in just telling her we were going on a date but not being creepy about it. So I say get her to help you with something and tell her in return she has to let you take her out for dinner. Then on said dinner date charm the pants off her, I mean this litteraly.
