Our remit is anything performance-enhancing, so it's not necessarily either.

Nice! You'll let us know ITT once it's up?

I think there is one thing that we can all hopefully agree on:  Religious and/or ideological extremism, in almost every form (except for the quest for teh hyuge), is dangerous.

I think vivus is also about a month away from getting a weight loss drug FDA approval.

Not a particularly exciting or novel product though.

No, its still a big deal though because the FDA never approves weight loss drugs (not since fen-phen).

Their stock was down about 10-15% pre announcement. After approval it popped up 25%. Yesterday down 10%.

The approval is pretty restrictive in terms of prescribed use. I wonder what the Qnexa guidelines will be like. I'm thinking about doing a post on each.

I was also thinking about adding a different strapline. It used to say "discussing the science behind performance-enhancement". I was thinking of something like "where pharmacology meets performance-enhancement". Any better (srs) suggestions?

I think it depends on your target audience. The word pharmacology is going to scare some people off simply because it sounds advanced. But if you're OK with that then it creates a stronger niche which is important too.

I like the "strapline" (I'd never heard that term until today) is good the way it is. I think it's a bit early to be scaring off potential followers/subscribers/whatever you call people who read your blog...

I think there is one thing that we can all hopefully agree on:  Religious and/or ideological extremism, in almost every form (except for the quest for teh hyuge), is dangerous.

I agree..needs a bit of a cleaner look.

I mean this in the best way possible- it's kinda like the site design doesn't match up to the site content. Content=top notch. Web Design=meh.

"where pharmacology meets performance-enhancement"

I really like the sound of that.

But I agree with this.

Regardless, keep up the great work.
