Best PH/DS For Powerlifters? Strength, Not Mass

Which is the best PH/DS for a powerlifter who wants to stay in the same weight class when competing? In other words, I want to get stronger while not adding too much muscle. Recomposition is okay, but not bulking. I'm currently almost done with my first cycle of h-drol (50/75/75/75/75/75), which ends on the day of my upcoming meet (July 13th). I probably would've went up to 100mgs for the final two weeks, but I only had two of 'em, which was just enough for what I'm doing.

Would something like m-sten (also, alpha-one and trenavar) always put mass on you, even without increasing caloric intake? I'm thinking stuff like that could be primarily used for strength as long as you don't go crazy with food. I heard mixed things about epi, i.e. good for strength, but some people are non-responders. Those are the four that I might use, going into my next few meets, later this year and next year. Thanks for any help that you can provide, guys.

@ 2caps ... i have experience with DMZ 2.o (msten & dmz) & i felt strong and alpha in the dam gym; i remember laughing to myself how light i thought the weight was - i was basically at maintenance and still killin' it. Pumps n strength were f'in great!! Felt like i was some 50mg IH 'Drol

Pick up new Legio X, I believe HenryV states that's it is a great for power lifters

I'm strongly considering stacking either Legio-X or M14ADD with Epistane for my next run, I'm quite excited about it.

Also not a ph/ds, but if you can find them...Cheque Drops. Gives quite the kick, better than any pre workout I've ever tried lol.

Curious for other people's thoughts on this... have a meet coming up in 6 weeks and was thinking about jumping on a cycle but need to not gain any weight... the more strength the better!

dzone stacked with an oral. Superdrol, mithras, msten, keep carbs and calories down if you don't want to add weight but that is a given. As long as you keep them down you shouldn't gain too much weight. Mostly water/glyco.

Pat isn't MENT the non mehtylated verision of cheque drops? if so would mendione have some of the same effects as cheque drops. the reason is people are getting a recomp effect from mendione and not much bloat can you explain more...thanks


Yes. It's 7a-methylated. Cheque drops are 7a,17a-dimethylated. So MENT is the non 17a-methylated analogue of cheque drops.



it is the non methylated version of cheque drops. it should aromatize to 7alpha-methylestradiol which could cause bloat but that depends on the person i suppose. it is strong though orally even though its not methylated and cheque drops are alot more toxic obviously

Agreed, this is the most under-rated strength PH out there IMO. I use Prescription Nutrition EPI or RPN havoc with myself and clients and it is no joke.

Another legit mixture is Epistane/Halodrol/Furazabol mix. This essentially is similar to a tbol/var/winny combo...Does wonders for strength..just watch your Blood Pressure on this :)

LMG gave me good strength and can be stacked with whatever for the most part. Just saying.

I think most have been listed already:

Dienozone makes me strong, but also adds fullness and help me grow.
Legio X is a wet compound for strength!!!!!
Mithras would stack with anything and make you strong as hell

I really love Mithras for strength. It doesn't add a lot of size, but the strength gains are impressive.

After reading the posts in this thread and others, I'm pretty sure that I'll be using Mithras (original, not the Nano) solo for my next cycle, peaking for Raw Unity (the meet after my upcoming one on July 12) in February, or maybe that with Trestobol. However, I wanted to save the Trest for Msten or Alpha-1, which I'll probably be using next year, after the Mithras, so I'm not sure.

After the Halo cycle that I mentioned in my first post, I did two cycles of Epi, and now I'm currently a little over halfway into a cycle of Triumphalis. The Triumph is being used to peak for the meet on July 12th. It seems to be giving me a recomposition effect, along with more strength, while doing Carb Nite, a cyclical ketogenic diet. I'm eating less than 30g of carbs each day, then carbing-up every sixth evening/night.

I thought trest was supposedly really great for strength.
