i decided to do legs today instead of back so I could get it two leg days this week.

 

I have been doing a high volume approach lately, my second leg day will be low volume higher weights

 

 

V-Squat machine

 

350lbs x 10 x 3

 

Leg Press

440 x 10 x 10

 

Leg Extensions

100 x 10 x10

 

Doesnt sound like much, but those 100 reps are pretty taxing to me.

I usually do calves also, but I wimped out and did some abs

 

Ab Crunch Machine

155lbs x 10 x 10

 

Went home drank a protein shake and took and hour nap lol

@Bodock nice work man dont think that 100 reps is easy.  Hell last week my buddy and I started back to the gym after one whole week off and after 2 sets of squats I couldnt walk.

machine is meant to be used with the head and shoulders facing the machine. the squat is supposed to look like a dude bending over to get his angus peppered..

LOL ive only really seen big dude doing it, so im not hating. I haven done it for a long time, but I liked how deep you could squat and my knees didn't hurt after. Ill hit it up next leg day.. What can you feel different from each position?

With my back on the pad I feel it more in my glutes. Facing the pad more in the quads
