Hey guys, I'll be continuing my work over in this log. It'll run for however long I see fit, but prolly until about August. Summer plan is as follows:

Now-Aug 1st ish: slowly increase calories to bring BMR back up while hopefully adding a decent amount of mass (goal is something like 175lbs 10% bf)

Aug 1st - Sept 30th ish: cut back down to 7-8% bf, slowly taking cals back down

There'll be some interesting stuff going on in this log, I promise. For starters this is going to be my first time "bulking" on AAS, so I'll get to play around with doses, probably will do some EQ, etc. Also I will mention that the nice guys at Nimbus Nutrition have hooked me up with two bottles of Cadence. I will be logging results mainly in the form of bloodwork (which will come next post).

Other than that I will be posting any changes in diet, training or supplements. Hopefully, foodpornz as well.

As far as physique, here's all the shots (didn't submit all, look at the bad DT application on back lollz) I took for the 2014 PHF competition:

TRAINING RECAP

High volume (30 sets for legs, etc.), hitting everything 2x per week, drop sets every 6 sets. I super/triset everything, and stay on the short side of rest periods (40s-1.5m), so heart's always pumping.

I've been training pretty hard coming up to the PHF competition, so the next few weeks will be a planned slow down (mostly volume reduction, days off). Call it an overreaching and deload periodization scheme if you will. After that, it's back to higher volume.

DIET RECAP

Current maintenance is about 1900kcals, which sucks. Protein is high (~210g), fiber is high (~60g). These two remain unchanged bulking/cutting/whatever. When cutting I reduce fats to the 40-50g range, and carbs fill up the cals. When bulking, I eat whatever as long as I hit my protein, fiber and cals.

Plan is to start out at around 2250kcals and then up 50kcals a week about. Should be up to 3000kcals+ by August.

BLOODWORK FOR CADENCE (60 days)

My BP has always been good, usually 120-110/70-80. Last couple months (since starting AAS I think) it's been closer to 120/55-70

I will be posting:

  1. some old natty bloodwork from back when I did lots of cardio and didn't lift as much, for a baseline.
  2. the one from 5/20 or so (1 week before starting Cadence). Coming off of nano mithras and tren (dropped the tren dose down after this bloodwork).
  3. one on 6/19 or so (so 3-4 weeks into Cadence, closest I can do to halfway)
  4. an end blood work after finishing my run

1 Old Natty Bloodwork

Had to put it in a table manually, the original gave away too much personal info. It's a very complete panel, and in fact I'd appreciate it it somebody evaluated the meaning of the three thyroid readings in context.

COMPOUNDS RECAP

Basic plan for now is to stick with test/tren in order to properly evaluate Cadence. Not a bad stack anyways. I will probably be running 250mg test and 250mg tren. Depending on the bloodwork on the 20th I may have to adjust. Only other thing I may change is adding in EQ or messing with AI.

In on this of course. Love Cadence. Although Abyss was my first baby on the market, Cadence is a data power house and is absolutely amazing.

A lil training fotage from today, 365lbs dead not the best I've had but wasn't hard to get up. Could have easily gone for 375lbs (match PR).

The blur blocks the majority of the 2nd half of your movement but from what I can tell at first it seems like you may be letting your shoulders hang forward to much. Try to pinch your shoulders blades back a little bit so when you are pulling the weight isn't hanging on your upper body/shoulders as much and more on your lower back, glutes, etc.

Sorry guys been on party mode last two days. No drinking (good) but pretty much have gone to the gym, to work and hung out with a chick one night and pulled an all nighter the next (the good kind) and she made waffles. Also had some pool parties=free food (fried chicken, cake, fruit salad, etc. so could be worse). Probably a 500kcal surplus these days, but really still feeling pretty dry and vascular. In fact, today I hit shoulders and was called out on the 'horrendeousness' of my bi/forearm vascularity. Also saw some chest and front delt veins.

Training has gone well, been doing reduced volume (6 ->) sets per exercise and not always pushing as hard. Exception is squats, deads and bench, for which I'm keeping 6 sets (while still bringing total workout volume way down) and still pushing hard. Rep ranges have been whatever the fuck I feel like. For example there's that day I went for 1RM on deads, today I did high rep low rest shoulders.

Started my lower intensity period. Original plan was to jump into a hard core deload, but instead I'm going to do some 80-85% of full effort, keeping a deload for the week of the 4th. Still sticking with 6 sets of major compounds and then 4 for others.

Haven't recieved results yet, my doctor's office sucks ass (but at least it's free).

On a sidenote, I forgot to post other vitals for that day:

BLOOD PRESSURE 6/19 2:00PM: 104/70

Body Temp 6/19 2PM: 98.5F

WEIGHT WITH LIGHT CLOTHING 6/19 2PM: 164lbs

Was fasted but hydrated. ~45m after finishing workout, preworkout was pump product + 100mg caffeine IIRC.
