Not to nag, but avoiding catabolic breakdown is one the primary reasons to re-feed carbs.

same feeling, energy fine, but workout fatigue is insane, after 1 heavy set to failure my strength is shot for the remainder of workout.. strength itself isn't down, on my first set I've still got it, but I miss my glycogen :/

 

all in all its going well, curious to see what happens when dien/trest kicks in, when do you guys usually notice the effects?

weighted pullups 25 x 6, 35 x 6, 45 x 5

db row 120 x 6, 130 x 6, 150 x 6..

better start with 150s next time

close grip pulldown 230-240 x 5, x 5, x4

weighted hypers, 25 x 6, 45 x 6, x 6

 

might need to up those too

 

45 min post workout cardio last 2 days

tomorrow will be 1h fasted.

weighted dips 45+25 x6, 45 + 45 x4, 45+25 x5

2h overhead db with DEEP stretch at bottom, 80 for 2-3 sets of 5-6

abs

 

good workout, strength still okay, nothing great, but felt good and looked good, just a little flat

carb load tomorrow night

shoulder blade felt tweaked, couldn't shrug

last time did back hit weighted pullups w/ 55lbs for 6, db rows 150s x 6, weighted hypers 45+25 for 6, and close grip pulls either 250 or 290, I forgot, for 6..

all were 3 sets..

 

strength somehow going up

hammers, 70-75 for 3 sets of 4-6

preacher 40 per side, same thing

close grip bench 315x4

plate loaded dip machine, 45+45+25+25.. 6

and 2h db overhead 75 95 120 all x 6.. VERY VERY deep reps, as deep on the negative as body can allow.

I was much happier with my tricep work this type, I found a good set of tricep exercises that really activate triceps

yesterday arms

bb curl 175 x 3, 165 x 5, 155x5

hammer curl bar w/ 50 lbs per side x 6 5 5

preacher curl 45 per side 6 5 4

close grip bench 315 x 6 5 4

plate loaded dip machine 45 45 35 35 per side 6 6 5

2h overhead db ext. 115 x 6 5 5

 

volume very low, reps low, weight and rest high.. MAX OT approach to fit with my 0 carb diet.

 

did my weekly cheat today

 

7 pieces fried chicken, 3 tenders, 4 biscuits, 3 doritos tacos, 2 nachos, 7 brownies, 2c ice cream, 4 cookies and a bunch of popsicles.. felt good

 

back to business tomorrow, addin ECA to the mix.

was 249 on sunday.

 

sorry for the lack of updates.. everything is going very well, strength is up, vascularity and hardness are up..

people at gym commenting that I'm getting bigger, which is everyone's goal on a cut, to look bigger I think

 

these new boards suck though and I wish I could cut and paste.

down a total of 33 in 6 weeks so far.. and last week only did cardio twice.. got sick with that bronchitis.

 

 

I'm very happy with this approach and very happy with the dien/trest combo, working wonders at muscle retention and fullness while on a carbless diet

haven't checked in lately, but I'm about done I think, getting pretty damned lean pretty quickly.. weight loss and slowed a lot, but I'm thinking maybe 2-3 more weeks and i'll be good to go

 

lesson during this is to work my abs though, especially while bulking, though there's not much fat, they look miserable
