lost 2 lbs from last weeks weigh in

and I'm incredibly starving this morning

not sure how long i'll manage with this whole skipping breakfast protocol

scope, so would this look like an okay meal plan..

upon waking 10-15g isolate, 2-3 tbs mct oil, 3 scoops amino energy (Caffeine, plus my iso is unflavored, this makes it tolerable)

60-90m later- 5-6 slices thick bacon, 2-3 whole omega-3 eggs

then.. 5-6oz turkey, 1/4-1/2c nuts

then.. 3-4whole eggs w/ 5-6oz grass fed gr- beef, nice and fatty 85/15

then.. 6-8 oz cod with some olive oil/nuts

SPINACH with 1-2 of previous meals.

then preworkout of 30g isolate, 2-3tbs MCT oil, also with flavored aminos to make tolerable

intra of 15-20g isolate w/ aminos

PWO 70g vitargo 50g isolate

then feast on remainder of pizza from yesterday, a Tokyo joes bowl, maybe some cream of rice..

my concern is the first half of the dya, is that enough? could I do without one of those meals you think?

PART 2

tu and th. I train 6am.. so wake 530, get up and ready, train 100% fasted, then pwo 50g iso 30-35g vitargy.. then how long before I start eating my fat/pro after my pwo shake?

Looks good but I'd skip the aminos in the am and preWO.
The leucine will cause a spike stopping you from using fat for fuel.
You only want the spike postWO and during your BL.

You can start eating 1hr after your shake.

Back 1 page is exactly how to do CBL when lifting in the am.

so I'm feeling great after today's workout and CBL..had the rest of my pizza, another Tokyo joes bowl, some ice cream and donuts..

the rest of the week will be much cleaner, tomorrow I will not CBL

Tuesday my plan is probably a chipotle burrito and maybe half a box of cereal.. nothing outrageous..

weds might be a big bowl of cream of rice with some chocolate syrup and strawberries..

then th.. waffles loaded in syrup.

trying to lay off the pizza and doughy stuff..

feeling good though.. I'm supposed to be logging creatine, but I have no idea how to really do that because it doesn't really give much to report.. obviously there's no big weight gain or crazy pumps or intense focus like on ph or pre-workout stims..

What we're looking for is any increase in hydration, endurance, and/or recovery. Due to the taurine, COP, and betanine.

I wish I had a Tokyo Joe's near men. I have seen the food from Phil Heath vids and it looks great.

yeah, you can customize bowls there, they had a BOGO free sale in December, so I bought literally 25 bowls and just threw them in my freezer for a rainy day.. big ol' bowls of chicken rice and some sauces on the side.

I can tell you guys this much, when I wake up in the morning after carb nights (I take creatine pwo and w/ my carb loads) I am full and hard and vascular.. I notice I'm requiring substantial amounts of water while training too ,much more than normal..

hard to report on recovery because I just switched training styles AND diet..

with my new approach though creatine becomes even more important and this stuff is cheap, has solid ingredients, and is unflavored, so this will likely be my go-to  for a while

Sounds good! Cremax is already pretty cheap when you factor in what you get out of it.

Be on the lookout though, I have seen it as low as 9.99. PHF has BOGO deals some times too!

1/2 a pizza, 1/2 cheesebread, 2 big muffins, 16oz chocolate egg whites, Tokyo joes chicken and rice bowl, 1/2 pint ice cream, 1/2 order of wings..

nice reasonable carb load today.. will repeat the same thing tomorrow probably.

this seems like it's going to backfire.

I use egg whites for all kinds of stuff.. you know those green cartons 100% liquid egg whites?

if you add chocolate syrup to them and shake it up, you get chocolate milk (0 calorie option from walden farms, 0 cal choc. syrup)

if you mix them in cereal with a 2:1 ratio of egg whites to unsweetened vanilla almond milk, you get high protein cereal, and can't even taste them.. that was part of my feast tonight, huge bowl of cereal w/ 2 cups egg white 1c almond milk as my milk.. 50g protein from the egg whites alone.

blend them up with oatmeal and splenda and cinnamon, then throw on a pan, makes a huge pancake.. cover in berries and chocolate.. or can blend them up w/ cinnamon and splenda, NO oats, and cover in 0 cal chocolate syrup and almond butter for a keto friendly meal.

one of my favorite protein sources, very versatile.

I can't do egg whites raw, that throws me off.

I like oatmeal on a stove top, but when I need extra protein, throw oatmeal in the microwave with egg whites...it gets them so thick and creamy.

its not raw egg whites, and try one of my ideas, you won't even know it's egg whites..

I'm feeling VERY well hydrated and have surprisingly great energy for workouts, even when training fasted..  and it's nice that it's unflavored, can mix in any drink.. will be stocking up on this cremax due to low price and ease of use.

Sounds awesome brah!

I also love that it is unflavored. I can mix it in with my pre workout of choice, usually Hypermax, and it does not affect the flavor of my pre at all.

my original diet from before.

m1, intra and post, then post meal all carbs pro no fat

last 3 all fat/pro.

that was my favorite meal plan.. back to HIT training also..

might have 1-2 last cheat meals this weekend, but nothing over the top, Monday it's officially back to business.

That was my meal plan prior to student teaching as well. But since I have to train after school, I went to cbl

Don't give up so quick...

Ride it out and you'll soon reap the benifits.

You jumped right into big, dirty, and uncontrolled backloads so what your experiencing is exactly what happens when anyone starts CBLing the way you did.

It's takes about 7-14 days for your body to adjusted then you'll start seeing the magic that is CBL.

never! I called it quits, plus I didn't do the prep phase, which I should have, and I think my bodyfat is too high to skip that phase..

i'll do it again, but i'll do it properly next time.. just not right now.

I might try it for my next cut.. start with like 3-4 backloads a week, then taper down to basically carb nite and I'm lean.

I don't think the prep phase is needed. I do not have the book, but that is my opinion. It is essentially eating carbs post workout which is a good time to eat them. However, I do not eat a lot of simple carbs, like outlined. I may have a few servings of cereal daily for my carbs post workout. I also carb cycle and do not have complex carbs on my off days. I stay under 80g and it comes from one serving fruit, a bunch of veggies, and peanut butter.

The prep is for sures needed and it's what gets you from being a sugar burner to actually being able to use fats as your fuel source during the day.

Doesn't it call for less than 30 grams of carbs for 10-14 days? No thanks, I like keeping myself regular with fiber

10 days under 30g USEABLE carbs.

You don't count fiber towards your daily carb total.

I eat 60-80-100g carbs a day but only 20-25 are useable.

that's tough.. 100g carbs with only 20-25 usable?

explain that please, I can't figure out how to get so many.

and I will certainly try this CBL again, just not today
