Hey whats up guys. After 5-6 months of recovery from surgery I am back. Unfortunately, I've put on a lot of fat during this time. Now I'm finally healed up and ready to go. During this time, I've kinda re thought what it was that I am after. No longer do I want to get huge or put up crazy numbers. While that used to me my goal, it is no more. The amount of stress that has put on my joints over the years is just not worth it. I now have a little girl and I want to be able to chase her around the yard in the near future and behond. So the days of squatting heavy ass weight is over. Dont get me wrong I will still push myself but I will use a weight that will put me somewhere in the 10-15 rep range...No more 4-6. Anyways I'll post up a few pics where I currently stand. I am not proud of these pics, actually pretty disappointed that I let myself get like this. But it is what it is...All I can do now is change. The plan is to put on some solid lean mass and definitely lose a good amount of fat by summer...I want to look like a new man.

@ BBG...Yea pretty much...When I get down to 12ish ill just basically lean bulk...I have no plans to ever really go into full bulk mode again...At this point I just wanna looked jacked/vascular...Not after the mass so yea just focus on staying lean while adding some solid lean muscle in the process.
But when I say Jacked/vascualar I mean it...I wanna be one ripped motha fucka

My diets going to be key through this all. Right now my maintenance is 2833 kcal....I'm not the most knowledgeable guy when it comes to macros, but I figure If I drop 150 cals a day that alone should help shed the bf. If not I can alway drop more.

Like I mentioned above, I'm not really lifting for strength anymore, with that said I still to some degree lift to get stronger, My leg day consists mostly of Squats and a shit ton of Lunges..I keep it simple but do a shit ton of volume...I've only squatted around 5 times since i've recovered from my surgery so my numbers are a tad low....My routine a little different than what a lot of you are used to.
Warm Up sets
155 x 18
165 x 15
185 x 15
205 x 12
215 x 10
Usually just grab two 50lb dumbells and do 3 sets till failure
Squats are my go to as you can see...I always squat on leg day, I do substitute RDL's for lunges from time to time, and occasionally if I have anything left in the tank ill do some extensions.
So overall my leg day is fairly simple....But effective.
