Honestly really glad I started this log cause it gives me something to do while I do cardio lol.

Destroyed chest today. Strength took a drop after changing my training but is now going up again even in a deficit.

Warmup- elbows and chest

Incline dumbbell press 100x8x8, 105x8x8x7
Incline dumbbell fly 60x8x8x8x8x8
Dumbbell pullover 70x8, 80x8x8
Gilloutine press (incline) 135x8x8x8
Standing tbar press 90 (2x 45's)x12, 100x12x12x9x8
Pec dec 5 sets of 8 pyramiding up to as heavy as possible

Tricep push down 50x15, 55x12, 60x12x12x12

Cardio 25min medium intensity incline treadmill.

Warmup sets

Barbbell rows 225x12, 275x8, 295x8x8x10
Wise pull-ups bw x8x8x8x8x8 (w/ scapula contractions after each set)
Narrow cable pull down 228x8, 192x8x8, 204x8x8
Wise cable row 240x8x8x8, 252x8x8
Dumbbell row 120x12x10x10x10 (limited rest)

Dumbbell curls 25x10, 35x8x8x8x8

Cardio 25min steady state/medium intensity.

Fucking A/C has been out the last two nights so barely sleeping when it's 85 degrees inside. Hoping they got that shit fixed today.

I don't know what to call them haha. Stick a barbell in a corner like a tbar row. Put a couple plates on and do a standing press while leaning into the bar.

Not sure if that explains it. Picture tbar row except it's a standing press. Absolutely epic for inner/upper chest and the pump from it is unreal.

I ended up doing these with my chest workout yesterday. Fucking love them. Thank you.

 

I started with flat dumbbell presses (only went up to 110's x 10, damn elbow).

Then I supersetted Incline DB presses with the Landmines! Holy Shit Mon! What a crazy stretch and squeeze. Great Chest workout.  I will be feeling it the next few days!

Glad you liked it man! By far one of my favorite chest exercises. Going to a staple as long as I can lift.

Squats* 225x12, 275x10x8x10x10x10
Quad extension 250x15, 280x12x10, 250x15
Hip thrusts 3 sets of 15
RDL 3 sets of 12
Leg press 3 (plates)x20, 5 x20x15, 4x20
Calve raises (donkey) full stack for 6x15

*squats- been doing some smith machine with legs 3-4in forward to isolate quads and staying in the 25% rep to 75% rep range for constant tension (if ATG is 0% and full lockout is 100%).

Feeling pretty good but actually kinda bloated today and not really sure why. Seems to happen more after my low carb days for some reason

Swamped with work and school but staying on top of things. Had a small fuck up last night and ate some shit when I was high cause I couldn't sleep all night from being hungry. So I slept about 3 hours and went to my doc and got an rx for lunesta so I can sleep through prep.

Hit chest Saturday, shoulders yesterday, and have arms later tonight.

That moment when you are rethinking your life because you can't even sleep during prep lol.

Just smoked bud trying to sleep and it normally knocks me out but I was up the whole night anyways.

I am sure you know this, but for sleep: Indica's. For MotaVation: Sativa's.  A sativa will keep you jazzed up and awake. A good indica/kush should mellow you out and help you sleep.

Seriously though I smoked so much indica, sativas starting knocking me out where indacas didn't have much effect.
Wax/Dabs is where it's at for sleep because that shit will put your ass out especially when in 75% or higher.

I'm a flower purist but have been known to enjoy hash varieties with Bubble being my preferred style. Dabs don't really do it for me. Too ritualistic and potent for my own good. I am fortunate to live in a very progressive part of the country with no trouble finding near pure Sativa/Indicas in addition to quality hybrids. Went out to Colorado this summer and the retail possibilities were really astounding. Medical is clearly the winner as far as potency/cost but after living in Amsterdam for 3 years it was truly shocking to find myself on US Federal Soil perusing shops like I was buying a Snickers Bar. Wild times we live in ;)

Crazy containers and setup needed but the product it produces is damn near clear and super pure.

Spent many years out there. It's funny to see some of that culture migrating to the States now.
