Has anyone ever tried it? A pl pro told me he uses it and suggested I try it. Also anyone know of a fairly cheap leucine powder? Which brand/site

I've done it and it's nothing new or special.
I'm now in the camp of lean bulk and bulk cut. Aka recomp without much added fat or recomp with less added mass but more fat burned.
It's something I just made up.
Probably write a short ebook and sell it for 60 bucks. Lol

I get most my bulk supps from bulk supps off amazon.

I got a tub of allmax leucine for like $20 off bodybuilding.com and add it to my bcaas

Your bcaas should already have it in it or did you mean eaas?

Nope, straight leucine. I like to get at least 20g of leucine a day and the average bcaa drink has around 2.5-5g. I add a couple scoops of all max to my bcaas.
