Since my bottles are probably in my mail box and I took this pic yesterday I figured I would get it up for a progress pic. I am mainly concern with power for this run but some size would be nice.

So far I am almost finish with my first week of this 6 week peaking block. Starting off I have the following competition style lifts. 575 squat, 365 bench & 510 Deadlift.

I have completed my first "heavy bench day" of 6x255x5 paused bench and 2x235x15 with accessories. Which went pretty well besides strain my pec a little bit again. I have also completed my first heavy lower body day of 6x405x1 Deadlift and paused squats of 3x275x5 with accessories. Was a rough day due to my hip issue. Today I did my first explosive bench day and will post it up tomorrow with explosive lower body planned for the morning.

What I expected by the end of this run is atleast 15 pounds to my total. Any more will make me very happy. This will my last training block before my son arrives on the 22nd of February.

Heavy Bench Program (Slingshot for AMRAP)

Week 1: 6x255x5 Paused & 2x235xAMRAP
Week 2: 5x275x4 Paused & 2x255xAMRAP
Week 3: 4x295x3 Paused & 2x275xAMRAP
Week 4: 3x315x2 Paused & 2x295xAMRAP
Week 5: 2x335x1 Paused & 2x315xAMRAP
Week 6: PR Attempt of 370 to 380

I have missed 370 paused twice now but mainly due to being fatigued and sore going into the attempts. Explosive days vary but are done using 10 sets of singles trying to move the bar of my chest as fast as possible. On heavy days I'm doing a lot of accessories but will not do them on week 5. I may not even do explosive work that week so that I am fresh for the PR attempts.

Pushups--------2020 in 1 set, non-stop, no knees on ground etc, in 2H 8 mins.

I usually get more but try not to over shot. Last cycle I didn't hit a bench on Deadlift pr but still hit 20 pounds on my squat. The cycle before I got 30+.

Lower Body Program:

Week 1: Deadlift 6x405x1 & pausesquat 3x275x5
Week 2: squat 6x455x1 & deficit dead 3x345x5
Week 3: Deadlift 3x435x1 & pausesquat 3x295x3
Week 4: squat 3x515x1 & deficit dead 3x365x3
Week 5: Deadlift Pr attempt 514
Week 6: squat pr attempt 580-595

Will cut out accessories and probably explosive days leading up to the pr attempts.

Planned last pr attempt is the 27th of January so I'm start dosing tonight at 3 caps. So should work out well.
